materials & care

  • 14kt Gold-filled and solid gold pieces should always be gently stored individually, preferably in a jewelry box/pouch to avoid tangling and scratching. Keep your pieces in a cool, dry place to avoid dust and humidity.

To extend your jewelry lifespan take proper care of your pieces by removing your pieces when doing daily rituals. Lay your pieces flat on a solely fabric surface to avoid scratching and tangling.

  • Tommassini Jewelry stands behind its quality, therefore our collection is 14kt gold-filled or solid gold only, never plated.

    - Gold Filled (hypoallergenic)
14K Gold fill is composed of a layer of solid gold mechanically bonded to a base of either sterling silver or some base metal. 14kt gold-filled is affordable, durable, shiny, tarnish-resistant, waterproof and with proper care can last a lifetime.

- 925 Sterling Silver
Sterling silver is an alloy created when copper is added to pure silver in order to make the resulting compound more durable and less soft. Usually, sterling silver has a purity of 92.5%, meaning that 7.5% of the alloy is made of copper or another metal (usually nickel or zinc). A great alternative to silver. Sterling silver can lose its shine over time, but can be polished and back to shine!

  • Absolutely!

  • With proper care 14kt gold-filled and solid gold can last a lifetime!

  • To refrain from scratching do not use a polishing cloth but use a soft, lint-free chamois. To clean your solid gold pieces in an efficient/affordable way, you can boil water with laundry detergent and let your pieces sit for one minute. Then wash your pieces off with cold water, and let air dry for about 1 hour.

  • Our solid gold pieces will never tarnish but may need some cleaning from time to time to bring back their shine. Our 14kt gold-filled pieces can be protected from changing colors by following their proper care.

Tommassini Jewelry is not responsible for your skin’s reactions to our products and is strongly encouraged to properly care for your pieces.
